Pak Biotech Center (PAKBIOMER) was established in 1988 to conduct research and development (R&D) studies to advance yeast production and meet the demands of new markets. PAKBIOMER employs skilled experts in biotech, microbiology, and biochemistry, as well as food science, chemistry, and bioengineering. Our team of experts stays up to date on the latest developments in yeast production, allowing us to update our production processes with state-of-the-art technologies.

What is Biotechnology?

Biotech is a combination of biology and technology, with the goal of producing beneficial products for industrial or commercial purposes using biological systems and processes. Biotech integrates several different fields including microbiology, biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology, protein engineering, enzymology, and bioprocessing technologies. Modern biotech aims to provide breakthrough products and technologies to reduce our environmental footprint, use cleaner or less energy, and employ clean and productive industrial production processes.
